Email Module
A tool which enables
the user to communicate electronically with contacts by
composing, sending and receiving email messages. |
The SalesStrat
Email module has all of the functionality the user might
need to compose, send and receive email messages with
the individuals on their contact list, combined in an
easy to use interface. There are five folders that store
the user’s email messages:
- Inbox: This folder
holds all of the user’s incoming messages and
distinguishes between new and read messages.
- Outbox: This folder
stores all of the user’s outgoing messages.
Messages the user has written that are waiting to
be sent are kept in this folder until SalesStrat has
connected to the user’s email server and sent
the messages.
- Sent Items: Once the
user’s email messages have been sent they are
removed from the Outbox and placed in the Sent Items
folder, where the user can review messages they have
sent to their contacts.
- Deleted Items: This
folder holds all of the messages the user has deleted
from their other folders. This way the user may better
manage their messages without permanently removing
old messages from the system. By deleting messages
from the Deleted Items folder, the user will permanently
remove them from their computer.
- Drafts: This folder
contains messages that the user has begun composing,
but has not yet completed, or is not ready to send
yet. These messages can be reviewed and completed
within this folder and sent to the recipients. Once
the messages are sent they will be removed from the
Drafts folder ad appear in the Sent Items folder.
The Email module shares information with the Contacts
module to streamline the SalesStrat user’s communication
tools. When sending an email, the salesperson may access
the email addresses that were entered in the Contacts
module for any given customer. This allows the user to
select the correct email address from a list of contacts,
meaning there is no need to re-enter data and no risk
of typing mistakes. |
